PlayHer Way Kicks off at Preston September 20th

Come join us for an afternoon of free girls soccer, fun and togetherness.
At Eastside FC, we want to see more girls playing soccer and more women coaching the game. One of the best ways to do that is to create fun, welcoming opportunities for girls to experience soccer, bring a friend, meet other players, and simply enjoy being on the field.
Our PlayHer Way afternoons are part of a broader initiative focused on growing the girls’ game, not just at Eastside, but throughout our soccer community. Whether your daughter already loves soccer or is just interested in giving it a try, we want to create opportunities for her to get involved.
We also want to clarify who can participate, because youth soccer league rules can be confusing, particularly for families with younger players.
Your 4-14-year old player is welcome to attend if she:
Plays for Eastside FC
Plays for one of our EYSA community clubs (e.g. Issaquah FC, Lake Hills Soccer Club, Bellevue Soccer Club, or Mercer Island Soccer Club)
Plays for a WPL club (e.g. Surf and Albion)
Is not currently on a soccer team
If your daughter currently plays for another RCL or ECNL club, she is not eligible to participate in this clinic under league rules. Examples include PacNW, Seattle United, Crossfire Premier, Sound FC, and Valor FC. The distinction is simply about respecting the rules that govern competitive youth soccer. It doesn't change the larger purpose of what we're building.
We want more girls to discover soccer, more girls to stay in the game, more opportunities for older players to become leaders and mentors, and ultimately more women to see coaching as a pathway for them.
Expect fun games, small-sided soccer and plenty of opportunities to just play. Bring a friend, meet some new ones and enjoy an afternoon of soccer designed specifically for girls.
Wear fun, comfortable soccer gear, but please leave your club training gear and jerseys at home!
What: PlayHer Way Afternoon of Soccer and Fun
When: Sunday, September 20
4:00 to 5:30 PM - Girls ages 4-6
5:30 to 7:00 PM - Girls ages 7-14
Where: Preston, Field 1
