Girls deserve more opportunities to discover sports, stay in sports and see a future for themselves in the game.
Too many girls leave organized sports as they get older, and there are still far fewer women than men coaching and leading youth soccer. That means fewer female role models on the field, fewer women developing as coaches, and fewer opportunities for younger girls to see what is possible.
We want to help change that.
At Eastside FC, that starts with creating more welcoming, accessible ways for girls to play, connect and build confidence, while creating more opportunities for women and older female players to coach, mentor and lead.

We're Starting With Play
Our first step is simple: create free afternoons where girls can come together, play soccer, meet other girls and spend time with female coaches and older players.
These are not traditional camps or clinics. They are low-pressure, high-energy afternoons built around games, small-sided soccer, connection and fun.
Girls of all experience levels are welcome within applicable league eligibility rules. Bring a friend, wear something fun and come play.

About PlayHer Way
PlayHer Way is Eastside FC’s initiative dedicated to expanding opportunities for girls and women in soccer. Through programming, events, mentorship and leadership opportunities, PlayHer Way is designed to help more girls discover and stay in the game, create stronger pathways for female players and coaches, and build a soccer environment where girls and women can connect, grow and lead. The initiative will bring together players, coaches, families and community partners around a shared goal: advancing the girls’ and women’s game on and off the field.
