Uniforms at Eastside FC Are On A Two-Year Cycle

Eastside FC players purchase adidas uniforms and training gear through Soccer.com. By updating kits every other year, we help keep costs down for families while maintaining a consistent, professional look across the club. The 2026-2027 season begins a new cycle, so all teams forming in Spring 2026 will be required to purchase new uniforms and training gear.

Home Kits, Away Kits & Training Kits

Uniforms are designed to support both performance and club identity. U10–U19 teams purchase a full set: a home kit, an away kit, and a training kit. For U8 and U9 teams, players receive an away kit and a training kit, with the grey training kit serving in place of a home kit. All uniforms are high-quality, durable, and designed to provide comfort on the field while representing the club with pride.

Fit & Sizing

To help families select the right fit, Soccer.com provides a complete sizing chart for all Eastside FC adidas gear. In addition, we typically have uniform samples available at the club office during each two-year cycle, so players can try them on before ordering. This ensures every player has comfortable, properly fitting uniforms that allow them to perform their best on the field.

Ordering & Reordering Uniforms

Once teams are formed, players are added to our Soccer.com system. Families can search for “Eastside FC” in the My Team section along with their player’s name to access a personalized ordering page. There, you’ll find all required items, along with optional gear that can be added if desired. Orders typically ship within 7–30 days, depending on Soccer.com’s production timelines.

If a uniform item needs to be replaced during the season, the ordering process is the same as the initial purchase. Families can return to Soccer.com, search for “Eastside FC” and their player’s name, and access their personalized ordering page to reorder any required pieces.

Required vs. Optional

All Eastside FC uniform and training gear is purchased through Soccer.com to ensure quality and consistency. Certain items, such as game kits and key training gear, are required for all players, and are bundled in a section called My Kit Uniform Kit.

Other items are optional and available for those who wish to add extra apparel or accessories. These are displayed in a section labeled Recommended. This approach allows players to have the essentials while providing flexibility for additional gear.

Guest Players / Borrowing Kits / Extra Kits

Each Eastside FC team is required to have an extra kit on hand. These spare jerseys are important for situations where a player’s uniform needs to be changed due to injury or blood, and they also provide flexibility when guest players join a game. Having an extra kit ensures that every player can compete safely and comfortably without interruption.

Jersey Sponsorship Opportunities

Eastside FC offers the chance to become a jersey sponsor, supporting our teams while gaining visibility within the club community. Sponsorship opportunities occur every two years, and interested parties are encouraged to reach out to learn more about participating in this exciting way to support players and the club.

Uniform Number Policy

This year, with the start of the new 2-year uniform cycle, we are updating our Uniform Number Selection Policy. In 2026, there will be a lot of player movement between teams due to the US Soccer national age group change from calendar year to school year. Our player count is growing and keeping uniform numbers unique across all teams in an age group is not always possible. We have also had many requests to “open up” opportunities for players to select more traditional, lower soccer numbers. Due to these changes and requests, the uniform number policy is changing.

Number Selection Process

There will be 2 sets of numbers for a player to choose from. 0-30 and 31-99.
0-30 WILL NOT be unique across the age group and can be used by all teams in the age group.
Numbers 31-99 WILL be unique across the age group, and each number will only be used once across all teams.

Numbers 0-30

Numbers 0–30 are available to all players if the number is available on their current team.
Returning players have priority to keep their existing number. Returning players who want to change numbers do not receive priority.
If two returning players have the same number, the conflict should first be resolved through discussion. If no agreement is reached, a coin toss will determine who keeps the number. For conflicts involving more than two players, a random draw will determine the order of choice.
Because numbers 0–30 are not unique across an age group, players choosing these numbers should understand that a conflict may occur if they move to another team during the two-year uniform cycle.
If a player moves to a new team and their number conflicts with an existing player, the incoming player must change numbers. This may require purchasing a replacement uniform if a uniform swap is not possible.

Numbers 31-99

Because this set of numbers will be unique across the age group, players who want numbers from this range will have to wait until all teams within their age group have completed their rosters to choose a number.
Returning players will have priority to keep their previous number.
This year, if two returning players have the same number, conflicts will be resolved with a conversation and if that doesn’t solve it, a coin toss will decide who gets the number. If there are more than 2 players in the conflict, then numbered paper drawn from a hat will determine the order of choice.
Returning players wishing to change their number will not have priority.
Choosing a number in the 31-99 range enables players to retain their uniform number, even if they move to a new team during the two-year uniform cycle.

Notes:

Players will retain their number through the two-year uniform cycle if they remain on the same team.
New players to the club will work with uniform coordinators to select a number that does not conflict with other team members (0-30) or from available numbers remaining in the age group (31-99). This applies to returning players as well who wish to change their number during any part of the uniform cycle.
When unanticipated issues arise during the 2-year uniform cycle (e.g. guest playing opportunities), the club encourages families to work with team managers and uniform coordinators with all teams in their age group to coordinate borrowing, doing a jersey swap, etc. until the next uniform cycle.
Each team will have a Uniform Coordinator working with the Club Uniform Coordinator that can assist you.
