Terrell
A Seattle native, Terrell Norris brings a global perspective and a deep commitment to player development shaped by both his playing and coaching journey. After beginning his career locally with South Kingston Premier and Seattle United, he went on to compete at Shoreline College before gaining international experience with Botov Plovdiv in Bulgaria.
Terrell holds a range of coaching certifications, including the USSF “C” License along with multiple grassroots and small-sided game licenses (9v9, 11v11). He has further expanded his education through advanced programs such as TOVO T1 and T2, the Quique Setién Coaching Education Certificate, and mentorship experiences in 2025 focused on the principles of Louis van Gaal and FCE. His development has also been influenced by respected mentors Raymond Verheijen and Jonathon O’Neil.
A supporter of Manchester United and admirer of Thierry Henry, Terrell’s philosophy centers on developing intelligent, brave, and authentic players. He emphasizes a holistic understanding of the game, rooted in game insight principles—teaching players to recognize and effectively use space and time.
He lives by the mindset:“Enjoy the pressure. Enjoy the stress. Enjoy being uncomfortable. And don't shy away from it, embrace it.” – Gary Woodland
