About Coach

Nick

Nick Ewing is a Washington native who brings more than 15 years of coaching experience across a range of clubs and competitive levels. He began his playing career with Orchards Soccer Club in Vancouver, WA, and developed a lasting passion for the game during the 2006 World Cup. Most recently, Nick coached at Crossfire Select, where he led teams to two top-division Founders Cup championships. He currently serves as the JV Boys Head Coach at Eastlake High School and holds a USSF C License.

Nick’s approach centers on helping players develop a genuine love for the game while continuing to grow both individually and as a team. He emphasizes a positive, engaging environment where players are challenged to improve, compete, and enjoy the process. His teams are built on defensive toughness, work rate, and accountability, with the belief that strong habits and a great experience at the youth level can lead to a lifelong connection to the game—whether that’s playing, coaching, or simply being a fan.

Outside of soccer, Nick lives in Sammamish with his wife Stephanie, their three sons—Colton, Weston, and Griffin—and their Bernedoodle, Marley. He’s a dedicated supporter of Manchester United and rarely misses a chance to catch a Sounders or Reign match.
