About Coach
Loren
Loren hails from the Puyallup area, where his passion for sports started early. As a kid, he could always be found on the soccer pitch, football field, or baseball diamond. A standout youth soccer player, Loren competed at a high level with FC United—now Washington Premier FC—and excelled as a placekicker in football, earning All-State honors his senior year.
His athleticism and dedication earned him a Division I football scholarship as a kicker at Washington State University. While at WSU, Loren thrived in a competitive environment, honing his skills and gaining valuable experience under pressure—all while staying connected to his soccer roots.
After college, Loren went on to serve in the U.S. Army for seven years. During his time in the military, he remained active in sports, playing on unit and base soccer teams and competing against other military and local clubs both domestically and overseas. His service not only reinforced his leadership and discipline but also deepened his appreciation for teamwork and mentorship.
Since 2019, Loren has been coaching youth soccer, with five of those six years at the premier level. He holds a U.S. Soccer C License and is known for developing players both technically and mentally, with an emphasis on strong values and sportsmanship.
Outside of coaching, Loren is passionate about building community through sport. He runs a thriving adult recreational sports organization that offers leagues in soccer, pickleball, and more. He also enjoys playing in those very leagues himself.
At home, Loren is a devoted father of three and enjoys spending time outdoors with his kids and the family dog. Whether on the field, in the community, or with his family, Loren brings passion, energy, and a commitment to excellence in everything he does.
