I grew up in Omak, WA where I played competitively and captained my team from ages 7 through 17. I was lucky enough to have a soccer coach who grew up in England and played at a high level in the US and a wrestling coach who was involved with the US Olympic Team. In college, I focused on wrestling since it was my scholarship sport but trained with the soccer team during the preseason.
I coach because I enjoy helping young athletes develop. I am a big believer in EFC’s mission of Building Champions in Life. All the things that make a great soccer player (Excellence, Focus, Effort, etc.) come from developing habits that extend beyond the pitch.
I have a USSF C and NSCAA National license.
My wife, Heather, and I are EFC Parents. Our twin girls (2004’s) came through the program and our son is a 2008 who plays at EFC.
