Sustained success in youth soccer is rare. Sustained excellence is even rarer.

This year, our G10 ECNL team achieved something remarkable—winning the ECNL Northwest Conference for the fourth consecutive season. Four years. Four titles. One standard.

At the center of it all is Coach Anderson “Xinho” Prestes, who has led this group since the start of their ECNL journey. Over those four years, he has helped shape a talented roster into a consistently high-performing team defined by its identity, culture, and competitive edge.

This season didn’t start the way they’re used to. Winless through the first three matches and with just two wins in their first six, the group found itself in unfamiliar territory, sitting sixth in the standings. Injuries lingered following the high school season, and rhythm was hard to find. But as players returned to full strength, so did the team’s form.

From there, the response was emphatic.

The group went on a run—10 wins in 11 matches, unbeaten over that stretch, steadily climbing the table week by week. Six of those wins came consecutively, all on the road, including demanding six-point weekends in Utah (Avalanche and La Roca) and Oregon (Thorns and Oregon Surf).

The conference title was ultimately secured this past weekend with a decisive result at Marymoor against XF G10 ECNL.

They’ll close out the conference schedule this weekend against PacNW. With the title already secured, the result won’t change their place at the top—but a strong performance could play an important role in playoff seeding as they look ahead.

Winning a conference once is an accomplishment. Winning it four years in a row reflects something deeper: consistency, resilience, and belief.

This group has helped to set a standard within the club over the past several years. And while their story is still being written, one thing is clear—the legacy of this team will extend far beyond these four titles.
