At Eastside FC, we believe soccer is about more than just goals, wins, and standings — it's about the people who make our club a family. This week, we gathered as a community to celebrate a tradition: our annual Senior Sendoff.
Under typical cloud cover at the Preston, players from our youngest teams to our oldest teams paused their drills, gathered their teammates, and helped form the proudest moment of the year — a tunnel of celebration and gratitude for the incredible seniors from our G06/07 ECNL and ECNL RL teams who are playing their final season with Eastside FC.
As the senior girls walked through the tunnel, they were met with high fives, hugs, cheers, and even a few tears. Coaches, directors, teammates, and families lined the path to thank them — not just for their talent on the field, but for the leadership, spirit, and heart they've poured into this club.
Many of these girls have grown up at Eastside. Many of them laced up their first cleats here, learning the basics of the game with wide-eyed wonder. Over the years, they've matured into disciplined athletes, fierce competitors, and role models for the next generation. Their dedication through early mornings, late-night practices, tough losses, and big wins has left a lasting legacy on our fields and in our hearts.
At Eastside, our mission has always been Building Champions in Life. These seniors are the embodiment of that vision. They’ve shown what it means to wear the Eastside badge with pride — not only in their commitment to excellence but in the way they uplift those around them. From mentoring younger players to showing unmatched resilience and grace, these young women have helped shape the culture of our club far beyond the scoreboard.
As they move on to new adventures — whether that’s playing in college, pursuing their studies, traveling, or exploring new paths — we know they'll carry the lessons and friendships from Eastside with them. And wherever life takes them next, they will always be a part of this family.
To our G06/07 ECNL and G06/07 ECNL RL seniors: thank you. Thank you for your loyalty, your leadership, and the laughter you brought to every practice, every bus ride, every game. You have left big shoes to fill, and you’ve made all of us — coaches, teammates, parents, and younger players — incredibly proud.
With love and gratitude, Your Eastside FC Family.
