Joy Larsen grew up in Seattle, Washington, where she spent many years both coaching and playing soccer.

One of her proudest accomplishments is recently earning her US Soccer "B" License. She's also had the privilege of taking a team to the Valencia World Cup in Spain, coaching her college's club team to regionals, and collaborating with coaches in club, EPD, and youth academy settings.

Coaching at Eastside is a true joy, and Joy is grateful to be surrounded by such an inspiring community of coaches, players, staff, and families. She believes that instilling confidence and bravery in players not only makes them better athletes, but better people both on and off the field.

Outside of coaching, she loves photography, spending time with family and friends, and watching all kinds of sports. Go Niners!
