Eastside FC is proud to announce Troy Letherman as our new Boys ECNL Director, a role that reflects both his impact over the past three years and the trust he has earned across the club.
Since joining Eastside FC, Troy has been a top-team ECNL coach and a driving force behind multiple initiatives—from international travel and camps to performance standards and player development frameworks. He has consistently demonstrated what it means to lead at the highest level: developing players, building winning teams, and setting the standard across multiple boys age groups.
Naming him Boys ECNL Director is a natural progression, as his championship-level experience, ECNL expertise, and leadership will be invaluable as he continues guiding our ECNL Boys program.
Troy’s coaching journey is as unique as it is impactful. Originally from Montana, he came to Washington by way of Alaska, where he completed six years of service in the United States Air Force while coaching and serving as Director of Matanuska Soccer Club. During that time, he also helped found AKFC—a cooperative effort designed to give talented Alaskan players access to competition opportunities in the Lower 48. Several of those players went on to successful collegiate careers, a testament to Troy’s vision and commitment to opportunity.
"Over the past three years, Troy has proven himself as a top-level ECNL coach and leader at Eastside FC, developing players, building winning teams, and setting standards across multiple boys age groups. Naming him Boys ECNL Director is a natural progression, as his championship-level experience, ECNL expertise, and leadership will be invaluable as he continues guiding our ECNL Boys program," said Tom Bialek, Director of Soccer at Eastside FC
