Sean Morris serves as Eastside FC’s Director of Coaching for the West Maroon program, leading our Mercer Island-based teams through a strong partnership with Mercer Island FC. He brings a global perspective shaped by playing and coaching experiences at high levels in the U.S. and abroad, including time with Seattle University, the Seattle Sounders, and the Portland Timbers, along with years spent in Europe and New Zealand. That background informs a thoughtful approach to player and community development—one that balances high standards with a clear understanding of what players need at each stage of their journey.

Sean believes the game should challenge and inspire, but also remain accessible and enjoyable for every player. His leadership of the West Maroon program reflects that philosophy, creating an environment where players are pushed to improve while staying connected to their love of the game and their team. He holds a UEFA A License, an MBA in Elite Management, and top coaching certifications from New Zealand Football, underscoring both his expertise and his commitment to continuous growth.
