Liam Jalalian began playing soccer at the age of seven in an academy environment, developing his game at a high level from an early age. By eleven, he had already made his first appearance with a professional club, gaining early exposure to elite competition. Originally from Iran, Liam moved to the United States nine years ago after competing in top environments such as Iran’s high-level youth leagues, the Asia Vision Youth League, and the Youth Premier Futsal League.

Throughout his playing career, Liam competed in numerous high-level matches, won multiple championships, and captained teams for more than six years. Those leadership experiences continue to shape the way he approaches coaching today. His playing career ultimately came to an end due to a serious ACL injury—an incredibly challenging moment that led him to transition into coaching. While difficult, that experience strengthened his resilience and deepened his commitment to helping develop the next generation of players.

As a coach, Liam believes in an attacking, proactive style of soccer where players are encouraged to be confident on the ball, take initiative, and make intelligent decisions under pressure. His focus is on developing players who truly understand the game—not just follow instructions, but think independently and adapt in real match situations. He emphasizes accountability, respect, and consistency, challenging players to take ownership of their development and hold themselves to high standards.

Beyond the field, Liam uses soccer as a platform to teach life skills such as resilience, confidence, leadership, and responsibility. His goal is to help players grow not only as athletes, but as disciplined and confident individuals.

Outside of coaching, Liam is passionate about personal growth, fitness, and continuous learning. He enjoys studying the game and watching professional soccer, always looking for ways to improve his knowledge. In his free time, he explores creative outlets such as photography, singing, design, and barbering, while also enjoying new experiences and spending time with friends and family. These interests help him stay balanced, creative, and connected beyond the game.

He has been a lifelong supporter of AC Milan and Chelsea FC, clubs he has followed closely since the age of eight.
