About Coach
Jeff
Raised in Bothell, WA, Jeff has spent a lifetime in the game as both a player and coach. After attending Inglemoor High School, he played collegiately at San Diego State University and the University of Portland. Following college, Jeff played professional indoor soccer for 11 years, including two seasons as a player/coach in Salt Lake City. At the youth level, he brings more than 30 years of coaching experience and holds a USSF B License, along with additional certifications in leadership, personal training, and nutrition.
Jeff’s coaching philosophy is built on a simple belief: the game should be fun, no matter the level—and it should develop both performance and character. He emphasizes continuous improvement, accountability, and soccer intelligence alongside technical and physical growth. Players are taught not just what to do, but why—building creativity, confidence, and resilience in competition.
His approach balances structure with freedom, creating an environment where players are challenged, supported, and take ownership of their development. He places a strong emphasis on being a great teammate—competing for each other, communicating, and putting the team first. For Jeff, success isn’t just measured in wins, but in how players grow, respond to adversity, and carry lessons from the game into life beyond soccer.
