Hector Betancourt’s passion and love for the sport of soccer have led him to be dedicated and committed to developing youth players into not only great soccer players, but more importantly, great human beings.

He started coaching in 2001, not knowing that he was going to fall in love with coaching after early injuries stopped him from playing. He has experienced many accomplishments, including league titles, tournaments, and state championships.

His coaching philosophy is simple but very effective. He strongly stands by three core coaching principles: Respect, Discipline, and Consistency. Hector’s overall approach to coaching is to promote a positive environment where kids feel they own that environment, and learning becomes easier.
