B09 White, B13 White, G13 White

Birthplace

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Ahmed's love for soccer was sparked at a young age while growing up in Ethiopia, where he played street soccer with his friends. At home, he remembers his father watching soccer all the time, which further fueled his passion for the sport. It was during this time that he fell in love with the game and grew up idolizing the great Thierry Henry. For Ahmed, soccer was more than just a game—it was a family bonding experience that taught him important values and life lessons that he carries with him to this day.

“The game of soccer has taught me a lot and I aspire to do the same for my players. I enjoy coaching and the process of growth that comes with it.”

Having spent the majority of his life in California, Ahmed played four years of NCAA DII soccer at California State University of Stanislaus while earning his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. With a USSF C License certification and seven years of coaching experience under his belt, he has been involved in the sport in various capacities throughout his life. When he's not on the field coaching, Ahmed enjoys spending time with his family, watching sports, reading and staying active.

"I'm thrilled to be a part of the Eastside FC family and eager to share my knowledge and experience while also learning from this outstanding soccer environment. Coaching isn't just a job for me; it's a passion, and I'm excited to bring that enthusiasm to the players and the club. Together, we'll work toward achieving our goals and developing our skills on and off the field."
