EFC U-23 MEN
new for 2020
June 1st Update: The EFC USL-2 and WPSL programs, like most of the other soccer organizations in Washington, have been suspended from training and play until next year. At this time the 2020 season for USL2 is canceled.
We are currently evaluating a training-team to allow players to train before their college seasons. More details to follow.
We will update this page periodically on tryouts, training, and the league schedule once the USL-2 resumes or when the training-team may begin.

Partnering with the Sounders Women of the WPSL and the Sounders U-23 Men of the USL, Eastside FC proudly announces the addition of Men's U-23 and Women's programs to the club. The U-23 Men's program will continue to play in the USL League 2 and the Women's program will continue to play in the WPSL. Although they have been known as the Sounders U-23's and the Sounders Women, both teams will play as Eastside FC beginning this season. For the men, continuing to play in the USL League 2 sets this team apart from the other men's teams in the Puget Sound area. Additionally, many professional players, including Eastside's own Jordan Morris began their professional careers with the Sounders U-23's. That tradition will continue with Eastside FC Men's and Women's teams.
“We are very excited and proud to be partnering with the former Sounders Women and Sounders Men U23 teams.”, said Eastside FC Executive Director, Chance Fry. “The addition of these programs completes our player pathway and gives kids an opportunity to do whatever they desire from age 7 onward. On a personal note, the women’s team has come full circle for me as I assisted in co-founding the team and coached them the first 2 years in 2000. Additionally, Tom Bialek, Randy Hanson, Tom Bunnell, and Michelle French have all been coaches with the Sounders Women over the past 20 years."
The programs will be headed by General Manager Larry Mana'o, who brings many years of experience to the programs. “I’m excited to have the U23 and Women’s programs find a home at Eastside FC," said Mana'o. "These programs now become a part of the Eastside Family of Soccer Programs. We hope to help create pathways for returning alumni to play with the senior teams during the summer. I believe it is a great opportunity for Eastside FC to build community by participating in great soccer right in their neighborhood with some of our local players.”
Additionally, the programs will be sponsored by Datec Inc., a Seattle-based tech company.
