SISU is a Finnish concept described as stoic determination, tenacity of purpose, grit, bravery, resilience and hardiness. As players grow through our pathway here at Eastside, we hope these are the traits exhibited every time they step on and off the field. Every day. In everything we do.
SISU shows up in every person differently but the constant remains the same. Grit. Resiliency. Determination. We know it when we see it.

Sisu (SEE-soo): Extraordinary determination, courage and resolutleness in the face of extreme adversity. An action mindset which enables indiviuals to reach beyond their present limitations, take action against all odds and transform barriers into frontiers.
