The Jordan Morris Foundation completed its second annual soccer camp for young athletes with Type-1 Diabetes. The camp, also sponsored by Eastside FC, Pagilacci Pizza, Tree Top, and Talking Rain, gave campers the opportunity to learn from Jordan on how to play sports and have an active lifestyle in addition to managing their T1D.
"It was such an honor to cohost the 2nd annual Jordan Morris soccer camp for T1d’s with Eastside FC. It was a wonderful day with 115 kids from 11 states. What an inspiration these kids are to me and how special it is I get to work along side my childhood club."
Coaches from Eastside FC joined the many volunteers to help make the camp a huge success. "This years JMO camp was amazing, with 115 kids from 11 states and one family coming from New York!" said Chance Fry, Eastside FC Executive Director. "It's very rewarding to have Jordan's vision of a camp for kids with T1D come to fruition because of the strong partnership between the JMO Foundation and Eastside FC."
