Born and raised in Brazil I spent many years in my youth playing for the Vila, Goiania and Inhumas Academy. It was there that I learned many of the life skills I try to instill in my players today. My standards and values as a leader are built on a foundation of morals and hard work. My philosophy is rooted in my love for this beautiful game and by helping young players navigate the challenges in life by focusing on Character, Integrity, and teamwork.
It goes far beyond winning and losing but to instill young people with both soccer specific skills and real world skills to help them reach their maximum potential both individually as a collaborative group.
This is accomplished by not simply working on individual skills but also situations most commonly encountered in the game of soccer and allowing the player to create solutions on their own. Essentially, not just the how but also the why and when. I believe that a good coach can make a life-long positive impact on kids they come in contact with.
