| General Information / Tryouts |
Eastside FC, the premier entity for EYSA, will form four U10 developmental teams for both boys and girls in the spring of 2010. The program will consist of 36-40 players selected from a tryout process in the spring at a date determined by the state. The players will be placed on teams by ability with some movement of players between teams during the season based on their progress. Tryouts will be held in April and the tryout schedule will be posted on the website.

| Coaching Staff |
We pride ourselves on having a very experienced professional staff. Most of our coaches hold USSF A or B licenses and have extensive playing and coaching experience. The staff qualifications can be referenced on our website. The slate of coaches for next year has not been determined yet. We place a high priority on putting great coaches with players in their first year of premier soccer.

| Program Focus / Competition |
The focus of the program at U10 is to provide excellent instruction on the technical fundamentals of the game. Each player will be taught proper techniques around all aspects of ball control and 1V1 situations. The teaching environment is positive and constructive while also setting a high level of expectation for the player’s effort towards their own growth. The teams will compete against other “like” competition from area premier clubs in the Premier Development League (PDL), which is the highest level available in the state of Washington. It is important to note that the competitive results are not a primary focus of the program.
| Season |
The program will start in June after the tryouts are completed. Through the summer the teams will practice twice a week with scrimmage games and tournaments during the summer. They will have a fall season which finishes in November. The month of December is off. They resume in January with another “mini” season and conclude with a year end competition in March.
