(Dec, 2014) Rachel Herron, formerly of Eastside FC G93 Red and currently a senior at Colorado College, is awarded the Stephen J. Paul Award, the coach's choice award for the player who most exemplifies the spirit of Tiger soccer. Herron is a forward, started in all 19 matches for the team this season, and scored 6 goals.

Three players from Tom Bialek's G91 Red team -- Kristen Marist, Anna Geldenhuys and Ashton Griffin
-- along with Delaney Nillis
of Eastside FC G93 Red, helped the Western Washington Viking Women into the Final Four of the NCAA Division II National Tournament. (Dec 2, 2013) On the boys' side, in the NCAA Division I tournament; University of Washington Huskies are hosting Stanford in the 3rd round of play this Sunday at 5pm. EFC alum Jordan Morris plays for Stanford, and Beau Blanchard plays at UW. Both played for Dan Strom on the EFC B94 Red team.
(Nov 29, 2013) Three EFC alumni, current college freshmen, made it into the NCAA Sweet-16 round of the NCAA Div 3 women's soccer tournament: Katie Chandler (Wash U), Audrey Thomas (Williams) and Lauren Thomas (University of Puget Sound). Wash U and UPS faced off in St. Louis, and Wash U made it through to the Elite 8. All 3 saw significant playing time. (Nov 12, 2013) Michael Crowley, EFC Alum and freshman midfielder at Claremont McKenna College, earned Newcomer of the Year honors and was named to the First Team All-SCIAC after leading the conference in assists with nine. (Nov 6, 2013) Kudos to EFC Alum Lauren "Nemo" Thomas, who, as a freshman goalkeeper at the University of Puget Sound, has enjoyed a season-long first-place standing in the Northwest Conference in Goals Against, Goal-Against Average and Save Percentage: http://www.nwcsports.com/sports/wsoc/2013-14/leaders. Thomas has allowed only one goal in Conference and 2 overall in almost 1000 minutes of play, and has been given Honorable Mention recognition as Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week five times so far this season. After having held top spots nationwide the previous week in NCAA Division III, she is currently 2nd overall in Goals-Against Average and 4th in Save Percentage: http://www.ncaa.com/stats/soccer-women/d3/current/individual/55 She has allowed only 0.186 goals for every 90 minutes of play, and has saved 92.6% of shots faced. In those same stats, she is the top-ranked freshman goalkeeper across all NCAA Divisions - I, II and III - with only two games left in the regular season.
(Nov 6, 2013) Nathan King, Eastside FC and junior goalkeeper at the Univeristy of Puget Sound, was named Northwest Conference Player of the Week for a second time after two shutouts and six saves in two games in Oregon the previous week. King leads the conference in goals-against average, only allowing .60 goals every 90 minutes of gameplay. (Oct 31, 2013) Michael Roberts, EFC Alum and Seattle University Redhawk Michael Roberts (Issaquah, Wash.) represents the Western Athletic Conference-leading men’s soccer team while Julia Besagno (Maple Valley, Wash.), Jacqui Wallis (Lake Oswego, Ore.), and Stephanie Verdoia (Salt Lake City, Utah) represent the 2013 WAC Regular Season Champion women’s soccer team.
This honor recognizes top student-athletes for both their performances on the field and in the classroom. The country is divided into eight districts and District VIII spans eight states, including Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington, as well as Canada.
